Biographical Sketch
Iwona Kicinger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 2004, a Master of Arts degree in Economics in 2006, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in January 2010, all from George Mason University. Her research interests include Health Economics, Industrial Organization and Public Policy, and Econometrics.
She is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award from the College of Arts and Sciences, George Mason University, the Adam Smith Award from the Department of Economics, George Mason University, the Bradley Fellowship Award from the Department of Economics, George Mason University, and the Dissertation Fellowship Award from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, George Mason University. She is a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of the Department of Economics at George Mason University.
Iwona has been a member of the American Economic Association since 2003, a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society since 2003, and a member of Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars since 2002. She has served as a reviewer for the Southern Economic Journal and for a chapter in the book series on "Advances in Health Economics and Health Services Research" published by Emerald Insight Publishing.
